Wood is one of my favourite materials for knife handles. It has a wonderous variety of patterns and colours from an large selction of species.
Wood gives a warm feeling in the hands and is easy to work. I supply several species of local hardwood which are
painstakingly chosen from a local timber merchant. I go there at least once a month and spend hours going through all the pieces to select the best
and most attractive pieces for my customers. This wood had not been stabilised and is sold in a variety of sizes in block form.

Woods most commonly available are Wild Olive, African black wood (black ivory), Tamboetie and Mopane.
However I am always on the lookout for other exotic woods so keep in touch to see what I have.
